"Stevo Capone"
"Stevo" was originally created as a concept character by Pineapple Parrot artist James David Holland back in his school days in the 1990s. Playing the traditional paper-and-pen game "Hangman" whilst bored in class, Stevo evolved from a 'need' to make the poor doomed stick man just that little bit more interesting. His head and body became wider, his eyes became uneven in size, his grin got slowly bigger, and of course his sidekick snail became a mainstay.
Today, "Stevo" is the centrepiece of some of Pineapple Parrot's most charming pieces of artwork. From quirky takes on pop culture to his own adventures and adorable expressions, "Stevo" will brighten up your space and bring a smile to everyone who sees him.
"Stevo Capone" is a new pop culture inspired interpretation of the Stevo character, featuring a distinctly 'Prohibition Era Chicago' vibe. And it's amazing as a result! It will add a touch of 1920s charm to any space it's displayed, no matter which format you choose.
